We are looking for a
Quality Manager Hydraulic Filtration
Job Purpose:
This important role is responsible for developing and implementing a Quality Management strategy and plan, including resource, systems, timescales, financials and metrics, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the business unit’s annual plan and long term strategy. The Quality Manager is part of the BU HF Management team. The position will be based in Arnhem and reports directly to the Business Unit Manager Hydraulic Filtration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the location Quality team in the BU HF (locations in Arnhem and Chomutov/ Czech Republic).
- Facilitate, train and coach team members in the use of best practice tools and techniques with emphasis on 6 Sigma frameworks.
- Lead improvement projects in the BU HF.
- Plan and manage activities and performance according to agreed budgets and timescales.
- Integrate and improve Quality in the Supply Chain.
- Plan for effective use of quality resources.
- Retain site certifications and customer approvals.
- Develop and report on quality metrics and CPI’s.
- Maintain all audit programs: internal, customer and certification bodies.
- Ensure complaints are resolved in a timely & consistent manner.
- Ensure that activity and product quality standards are in place and are met.
- Complete regulatory surveillance and ensure quality system comply with any changes are additions to regulation.
- Drive integrated business processes and documentation.
- Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across departments.
- Furthermore the Quality Manager Hydraulic Filtration participates in the following areas:
- Develop and lead the overall European Division quality strategy in line with corporate requirements.
- Provide overall leadership and direction to the European Division quality organization to maximize individual and team contribution and performance where possible.
- Define the QMS across all European sites, harmonizing process and practices where possible, in line with business needs, standards as well as regulatory and other applicable requirements.
- Provide support to Global Hydraulic Filtration initiatives and improvement activities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent with a technical/ business administration background.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Well versed in Quality Management with demonstrated abilities.
- Proven experience with Quality tools.
- Hands on approach.
- Strong presentation, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Affinity with the Lean principles
- Affinity with EH&S activities
- Good understanding of financial measures.
